vbadvanced portal doesn't remember users

vbadvanced portal doesn't remember users

Even though people are logged, it asks for a Log in from the users.
Putting in the information, it still shows that your not logged in.
When clicking straight to the forum, it shows us logged in.
What gives?

Sounds like it's a cookie setting..

in the cookie settings put

.yoursite.com

be sure to add the beginning dot.

Yeah, I had the same problem when I first started using vBulletin (spent weeks trying to work out what was wrong). Thats your solution

make sure to clear your cookies. and eat one if you are hungry.

I have this problem on vB if I login without Index of /. infront of the domain?

How do I fix this exactly?

Add the line into your .htaccess.

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.yourdomain\.com
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.yourdomain.com/$1 [L,R=301]
