I run a music recording site. A big part of the forum is users uploading their mp3s and letting us more experienced engineers give our feedback on how to improve their recording.

Currently, I've been recommending that users attach their mp3s to forum threads. This works fairly well, but there is a problem. According to vbulletin.com, there is no way to stream mp3 attachments. Reviewers have to download the entire mp3 file before reviewing it. This takes usually about a minute per song, but it drastically reduces the activity of these posts and the forum as a whole.

It appears that I'm going to need to do with some sort of Profile type of system. I could come up with some mods to enhance vbulletin to act more like a Myspace type of site with high quality mp3 streaming. I could go with a standalone system for music people, like Jamroom, but there is something about it that doesn't feel "solid" to me.

Any thoughts?

I know of a few radio mods, have you checked any of them out ?
Or have them host them on youtube, then just post a youtube link like you can here. ?
