vBulletin with yellow pages and events?

I promised to install vBulletin for a friend, and, as often happens when you offer to do something for someone who knows little about setting up web sites, they asked for other features for their site that aren't covered by vBulletin; they want yellow pages and event pages they can edit with FrontPage. I know FrontPage by reputation only, so I told them I'd see if there were any better scripts available that could do the job. Would vBadvanced do that? I've been looking at Joomla but don't know how good the integration is and it might be overkill anyway. Anyone have any advice?

I'm definitely no expert but vbadvance will give you a basic event page (calender with reminders) but not sure about the yellow pages.

Drupal might be a good way to go as I have heard good things about them.

Frontpage is a dead end, not supported anymore by M$

I even disabled the feature on the servers I manage, more a dead weight then a solution. We had more complains about things goig square then it helped people. Guess a portal will be a start or if they really want content next to the forum and not pulled from it... a blog (vbulletin has one integrated now, this forum has it installed).. some bridges are pretty nice but better get a good idea of what they really need. If they change opinion in a few weeks, the chooses solution might be crap and you can start all over ....

I'd probably recommend that you use Joomla. You'll most definitely find components for events and yellow pages - BBPixel sell a vB/Joomla integration system thingo.
