Also, there is no such thing as pr leak. That's a myth that just isn't true. You don't lose pr by linking to others. You lose it by not being linked to.

But I suspect it is to keep the spider on your site. Who knows, there are a lot of things we do in life that we have no idea why we do. *shrugs*
I could be wrong, but I have read far more against this belief than for. vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner vBSetup Owner | | | Join Date: Aug 2006 | Posts: 122 | Re: What do you think of Zoints ? Have some fun watching these folks go at in on pr leakage. Best way for one way outbound link?
If it were true, every directory listing would have pr 0. ;) vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner vBSetup Owner | | | Join Date: Oct 2006 | Posts: 141 | Location: Detroit, Michigan | Re: What do you think of Zoints ? Quote:

I could be wrong, but I have read far more against this belief than for. | This is what I've always thought its for to keep the spiders on your site to get them to gain as much pages as you can.. Quote:

It's slowing etching away on me, and there is a new tagging mod that I really like.
The whole program could really help a site like ours, and with vbseo being able to put a rel=nofollow attribute on all links, I'm not worried about PR leak..
I want to ask you guys what you think of zoints ? | I never liked it from day one either, but thats me. I want members to my site that want to be on my site and search out and find it... vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner vBSetup Owner | | Join Date: Jul 2006 | Posts: 10,602 | Location: Topeka, KS | Re: What do you think of Zoints ? I thy to put myself in the users place.. If i was a new vb admin, would I be hanging out at zoints looking for help with my vBulleitn board :|
One of the main reasons that I like this is because they have a "tag" system that is pretty cool.. I think vbseo will be adding it as it could help SEO, so I think I'll just wait for them ;) | | | Join Date: Oct 2006 | Posts: 141 | Location: Detroit, Michigan | Re: What do you think of Zoints ? Well for shits and giggles I set my site up for this zoints thingy, But so far I'm not sure what it really does other then allow there members to view your forums, its not like there members come to your site and sign-up??
I might be way off here but since my sites not even really open just yet I thought what the hell lets see what this things got to offer.. already I can say I'm not that impressed with it, we'll see I'll let it run for a few days then go from there..
