What percentage of your users have at least 1 post?

I'm interested to see what everyone's percentages of users with at least 1 post are.

To do this just take all users with 1+ posts divided by total members.

Mine is 568/904: .628

so 62.8% of my users have posted.

21%?

I need to do some cleaning..

1025 out of 2123 or 48%, I think it would be less without the mod that allows new users to make their first post while they register

people love disney!!

one thing to help clean up this number is to prune out dead/non posters every so often. i have pruned once in TalkDE's life and that was maybe 100-150 users so im sure that helps my stats

The Disney folks really get involved. Plus, I keep them involved with the chats and trivia games and features being added to the site, etc.

An interesting thing....some of the zero posters participate religiously in the chats or trivia challenges, but just want to be lurkers for awhile before putting their opinions/comments out there

I only cull people who don't confirm their email addresses, I wouldn't prune someone for not posting. My best member (4,000 posts and counting) would have gotten deleted that way. He joined up when the site was new but wasn't impressed; years later he found an old email from the board and returned to take a look.

I deleted the members who hadn't confirmed, then 1,000 users that hadn't login over a year with zero post.

Wow, that's a lot of users, yet you still have 7K +. Did you send out an email to the members about to be cut advising them they were about to lose their accounts?

well, I've sent several emails out to the guys who hadn't confirmed their emails
as for the others, we send emails out all the time, they would of seen one within a year

btw.. we are just shy of 6k right now
