Basically I was thinking of adding Xfire section in the profile (there's that extra field there anyway). However, I'm not talking about just adding it there as a custom field, but also the same system that AIM, MSN, and Skype uses (shows up in posts, etc.). Does anybody know if there is a mod for this? Or would anyone be willing to create one? vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner vBSetup Owner | | Join Date: Jan 2007 | Posts: 45 | Location: Pennsylvania | Re: Xfire Integration xfire is a chat client like AIM, MSN, or Yahoo except it's specifically designed for games. In fact, you can talk to people with this while IN the game (which means no minimizing). The 3 main programs I use are AIM, MSN, and xfire, however, vBulletin only has AIM and MSN out of those 3 and not xfire. Given that I'm responsible for all the crew contacts within the company I thought this would be useful to implement so that people could contact me easily and I could contact them easily.

However, it does look like a pretty simple modification, you could more/less copy and paste code and change it up a bit to get it to work.

I've been looking around myself and really haven't found a mod that inegrates it into vbulletin. And I mean... there's even a perfect spot for it in the messenger section of the User CP (the bottom right area) where the actual field could go. Besides, I think that xfire is a pretty popular messenger, especially for gamers (which is mainly the niche of my forum). vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner vBSetup Owner | | Join Date: Jul 2006 | Posts: 10,602 | Location: Topeka, KS | Re: Xfire Integration Quote:
