Template Modification System - vBulletin.org Forum

It will ease updating.

I just looked at product, and really did not understand it. Then again I am on my cell. I will install that on my development website and try it their. I am sure I will figure it out. Thanks for the request.

Well, when implemented your users do not have to edit templates and they will have less problem updating vB since no template edits is needed.
Support caused by missed edits will also decrease.

And what if my customers do not want to install it? Then can they all still use the same version?

All can use the same version but the TMS file will not be used and the templateedit is done by hand.
What the TMS system does is the same as manual edit.
You tell TMS search for and replace/add below/add before etc..

Install it and you vill understand.

I know I'm not looking forward to working on sites that have this hack. I seen that this morning, I can see some clients upgrades that wont go so smooth anymore

Even if you have a dozen hacks, most of them don't even require template edits or they are already done automatically..
