Yes, vBSEO is the best in the market but it really over priced if you ask me. People who own small forum but want a good SEO solution is away too much expensive. I personally dislike vBSEO because :1angry:

- New They require you enter you bussiness and personal Information if you want to download vBSEO. They is really lame as they use PayPal and 2CO marchant. PayPal and 2CO both already have Customer Information, and for webscript they should not require home or bussiness contact info. All they need to do is send a email or PM thought forums.
I like scripts which are open, so i can see what am I am running... It is not like i do not trust them It is just that why hide the code when i paid for it.

I for one have spent more then this on back-links and advertising alone.. It's just another piece in the whole setup..btw, I've made my cash back in the SE traffic & have made my money back from the affiliates program... but like I said, if you can't afford it, then don't get it.. the product is well worth the money.
- ? 90% of host will have this enabled already, if not it's easy to setup on your server.. I have more then one site that requires Zend
- again, I have other sites that are encrypted,, if it bothers you, it is very easy to unencrypted it and see what the code is..
- ya, this is a bummer for now, but I get most of my affiliate clicks from that link.. They will have the no brand version at some point.
- again whats the deal ? vb.com asked for the url your site is on too.. it isn't like they are doing it to sell your information.. just to protect themselves.

| - You can not unencrypt, I also do not think vBSEO will give unencrypted files. If I want to make them Dezend or unencrypted it cost a lot ~$15 per file which mean makes the unencryption cost would double the original price of vBSEO. Plus unencrypting vBSEO would be breaking License agreement as well.
- They will have copyright removal at some point but at the moment is the forced advertisement for their product. We are paying and willing to pay more to remove the copyright but still you forcing us to advertise their product.
- vBulletin do ask the information and it only during registration once you have registered they no longer show that information where as vBSEO have the information open in public forums. You can edit and see you information. vBulletin do require contact information but they do not force you enter you Business information. vBulletin require this information for VAT process. vB is Long Run Company and you are comparing it a newly born add-on. Asking for a forum URL and Contact person is OK, but asking for you Business and other detail information in order to download the last vBSEO copy is wrong and mean. Once you bought the copy and it has been over 4months and no charge back why still they need our address and business information? Only thing if they need to be worry is chargeback’s, which usually occurs within month maximum. Why them we are now forced to put our contact information if we wish to download newer copy of vBSEO.

| - there is no reason to un encrypt the files. I was just pointing out that if yoru worried about what the script is doing, then you can look for yourself.. personally I don't care, I know it works great and thats good enough for me
- you have the no follow attribute to the links so it's not like your helping them as far as SE bots are concerned.. and like I said, I have my affliate link in the footer so it's making me money too,, also you can alter it so it's not a link.. the copyright isn't a big deal for me either.
- This is petty stuff, it seems your grabbing at anything that you can, This isn't isn't public and in fact doesn't even have to be your real addy or name, they are just trying to protect themselves,, there are some members that will give the newest script to nullers and this is one reason vbseo does this, to try and stop ppl from doing this.

there are many more dangerous things that could be done if SEO is done badly, but this is an easy one to explain quickly. | I'm saying there isn't an SEO solution on the market for vBulletin that doesn't do more harm than good (Zoints SEO included) unless you REALLY know what you're doing. And 99.5% of people do not know what they are doing.
Frankly, I never should have released Zoints SEO. It was a stupid decision on my part.
There was a time when SEO mattered because the search engines could not properly index dynamic content. There was a time when on-page manipulation for increased rankings in the SERPs was quite easy. Neither are true anymore.
I'll be attacked because of this and that's fine. But the fact is, I'm right. SEO is stupid and deprecated. Focus on quality content and increasing the number of pages you have indexed. Become a reputable source.
