what 'extra' do i need to do for zoints tags to work on a VBSEOed board.

nothing. it'll work just fine

I tried it for a day but then moved to the boardtracker tagging system for vB..

I also opted for boardtracker, not sure why but... beware it takes a week at least before your board is actively scanned (after you set categories for each forum), but once it starts, it's like glue the spider, it's there all the time
