Photoshop tennis

I first heard of the new sport of Photoshop tennis a few years ago when I first got into the forum scene. In this game players take turns altering an image, posting it to the forum for the other player to download.. The image goes back and forth until the predetermined number of rounds is up or everyone gets bored, whichever comes first

When the final round is over, a judge determines who has played the best shots. Sometimes the game involves sticking to a theme, sometimes the criteria is humor or artistic ability.

Anyone up for a match? My Photoshop-fu is weak, but I'd happily referee

I think it would be cool, my photoshop skills are pretty weak too.. Maybe we would be a good match

I'd rather referee unless no one else wants to play... Caddy, how about you? I'd think this is right up your alley

Once we have two players (or the game could be played as doubles matches, even), I'll choose a starting image and post rules, deadlines, themes etc.

Here we can do a pool party to start.....add a pic in, SAVE The pic, add your image, resave and UPLOAD to potobucket or whatever. DO NOT attach or it will get small and ugly.

if you guys are using image hosting places i cant play at work, they are all blocked, but i can at home though, no sweat.

if you guys were going to take turns I would say have a time limit that easily allows for someone to do it after work... but if it's going to be anyone can participate I gguess it's first come, first served

yeah, just add images to it, that is how we always played it. i first found this game on that graphicdesignforum.com i was talking about

how did you find that image? I tried searching for "guy sitting" or something that I could cut out and put on the couch, but didn't see anything quick

i think i googled pool to find the pool image, i googled ron burgundy for ron burgundy, i would try maybe sitting or something like that or couch

Brandon I've found it's not so easy to find verbs like "sitting" on google images, you should try using something they' d be sitting on instead, like "couch man"

I was trying to cut out a bike and it looked a bit rough..lol

maybe they're starting with a large image, cutting it out, then sizing it down?

find a picture, open in ps, select the pen tool, zoom WAY in, like 300% or more. then follow the edges with the pen tool, then once the pen tool is closed, right click and make selection, then copy, then you can paste into the new image and resize it.
