| Software boxes? What are the best programs, plugins, methods etc. to create really good looking software boxes? Preferably free of course, but paid is certainly an option if it generates a better quality image. Some of the software box images you see on the web look decidedly fake and cheesy, with really bad lighting, while some look stunningly real. If it also does e-books, that would be even better. And are there any online tools for this, so I don't have to download anything?
Thanks for any advice you might have! |

| Re: Software boxes? for some reason Photoshop is less compatible with my voice recognition system, I can't drag things around in it and there are certain dialogue boxes that I just can't click on (probably because it doesn't recognize simulated mouse clicks). I've managed to compensate for some things by using keyboard shortcuts or sometimes you can fill in an object's dimensions instead of drawing it, but when it comes to editing, say, edges I have to go pixel by pixel... zoom in really close, position cursor, erase, reposition cursor, erase, lather, rinse, repeat. Same with using the paintbrush or any other tools. I can't draw in illustrator either but more of the functions work. (And I hope to be able to try a chin-mounted joystick soon if I can get the correct interface, if that works maybe I'll be able to draw in Photoshop again!) |

| Re: Software boxes? I hope so too, I don't know why there's even a difference between Photoshop and illustrator when they both come from the same company. |

| Re: Software boxes? I use Ebook Cover Software | eCovers | Ebook Covers - but it is commercial. Basically, its all Photoshop actions to produce cd,dvd, cases, boxes, and much more. Nice piece of software, but only if your going to use it regularly. |
