Tutorial request: Postcards

Could someone teach me (or point me to an existing tutorial) how to make postcard images? Most of all I need to learn how to do the big swoopy lettering that says "Welcome to (City)" or "Visit (City)", but if there's a good tutorial on doing the whole shebang (i.e., the flip side with stamp, address, and "wish you were here" scrawl I'd appreciate that too. Many thanks!

Oooo...something like that would be cool to do for my Disney fans!

They could send a virtual greeting card to the whole site when they are on their trip. Hmm....the wheels are turning.

Actually Arny, that's sort of what I want to do too... although I was thinking more along the lines of "gifts", a sort of e-card would work too. if they can pick what graphic to send, a sound effect to go with it, and a few lines of text... all "bought" by their post count or a credit system.

Excellent! *rubs hands together with glee* I have a header image in the pipeline that is just screaming for this treatment. Thank you Brandon, I think this tutorial would be very popular.

Woo hoo .... I can do one of these for every Resort that Disney has and members can send it to the site or other members when they are there or when they are about to leave or something.
