-Brandon | I have a number of contacts who have vB fan sites and they tip me off if any user appears to asking questions they could ask at the official vB support forum. If you wish to be proactive you could ask for the user to identify their forum and I could check it but who is to say it's the right url they are giving.
Forums need to be high profile to get visitors and as my search engine picks up forums in the early stages most piracy is short lived and the figures are high only because of the popularity of the software or sheer volume of work I have to deal with.
Don't allow any file transfers or requests and with the right attitude which you already have I am sure you will have the right members.
Floris at vbulletin.nl has one of the liveliest fan sites around so have a chat with him and he will advise you I am sure. He is my webmaster too so he is a great guy or I wouldn't have his help. |
