Fixing your templates after upgrading

In your admincp, visit Styles & Templates -> Find Updated Templates to see which of your customized templates will need to be updated.

First click on the View History link, and Compare versions. This will display both versions of the template side by side, with yellow highlighting to show where lines have been altered, red highlighting to show what has been taken out, and green to show what has been added.

If you don't care much about your customizations or feel redoing the customizations would be faster than adding the new features in the default templates, you can click the Revert link.

Otherwise click on the Edit Template link to manually update the customized template with the necessary code from the new default one. Have the template open in the editor in one window, with the version history in another window.

Go through the template line by line. Remove the old code and add the new. Save the template when done, and of course test it.
