Average Post Count?

Hi guys,

My forum seems to be pretty good at attracting new members at the moment but people don't seem to be posting much!? Just wondered what the average post count -to- members is?

At present I have 211 members and only 1391 posts?

how many threads have you made ?

When I started here, 95% of the threads where started by me. Then if anyone would reply to the threads or start new ones, I would try my best to reply back asap.

What you need is kids with ADD/ADHD on your forums. I had (and still have) a few of them. I know when 1 first joined the site, he had a TON of posts and polls, he was going crazy with it. I had to tell him to chill since most of the polls would just get buried by all his other polls and topics.

There are my forum stats:
Threads: 39,645, Posts: 299,122, Members: 29,357, Active Members: 4,242

I've got a lot of members over the 200 post mark and I even have a few over the 1000 (I know one guy is at like 6000 or something).

Re: Average Post Count?

When i started my forum, there was only 2 other members with me for a long time.

So alot of my forum posting was done thru RSS, which I relized to late was a bad thing.

Threads : 4795

Members: 265

Active members now would probably be 20 - 25 members, but it is getting better now that I have gotten rid of all the RSS except for one forum.
