No launch team at my forums, sounds like its a good idea though. That said I did have the sites first moderator other than me in mind from day 1!

I started Walt Disney Boards by myself. And, I had absolutely NO knowledge of how to do anything to the vBulletin software. (some would argue that I still don't! )

But, once I kick off my new Walt Disney Blogs, I'll have the assistance of three moderators and my friends here on vBulletinSetup

For me, i have been friends with a highly respected internet marketer for a long time and told him when my launch date was and the contest i was going to run for 3 month's. He did the word of mouth thing, i submitted 2 articles to a lot of article directories and still submit my forum to web directories.

I belong to some other sites where i emailed my downline about the new forum launch. VBSEO did it's job indexing from the beginning.

Its not easy but with determination and patience most of the time things start work out good after 6 months and for those that are lucky right away.

We didn't have a launchteam but there are 3 admins and we talked to ourselves. lol Our goal was to have 30 new threads each day of various content and that got us going.
