Most ultraportable laptops are expensive. They are premium products. If I was a person who had to travel a lot, and mostly used my computer on planes to work - this would be a perfect product.
Another cool bit about the Macbook Air is how it can 'borrow' CD drives from computers over a wireless network even for booting.
I won't buy one, simply because I don't have enough money, don't need an ultraportable and like my CD drive.
