Re: Do you work on 2 or more monitors?

I have a 20inch Intel Based Mac with a 19 inch Samsung LCD attached a second monitor. I have the extended desktop mode setup and often run Windows XP in a Virtual machine on the other. So I can run pretty much anything I want without reboots or multiple machines. I also would not want to go back to a single monitor.

and latest parallels even allows drag and drop between 2 OS's (got an Imac 17" and next to it another 17")

if you work in Photoshop, all pallets one side and full screen to work on image, very handy And since more and more programs use pallets all over the screen, you quickly end with a stamp size screen for the document

Re: Do you work on 2 or more monitors?

I have my Outlook, my FTP, and WMP11 all open on one screen and I work on the other.

When I need to add something to the FTP it's just a drag and drop. I have 12 e-mails filter to my outlook from all my sites so I can just look over when 1 comes in and see if I need to reply right away or not without minimizing other programs to read them.

Does using 2 computers count as two monitors? I'll use a desktop and my laptop when I'm doing some serious multi-tasking.

I have friends and clients that use 2 and 3; 19" monitors...very fascinating. Only drawback is you're only using one processor....

10 posts! h

good night
