| Re: Good morning, Good night Thread Good morning!
I've been up for three hours already and for the last hour working on my site.
Today's list goes like this...
Upload/organize Smilies DONE!
Finishing Editing Podcast: Working on it!
Create Webpage for "About Us":
Create Webpage for WDB Podcast:
Create Webpage for WDB Radio:
Create Webpage for WDB Hub:
All the while I'll be checking e-mail and stats on the site and answering posts and PMs on my site as well.
I probably won't make it through all of these, but if I can knock a couple off of the list today, I'll be good! |

| Re: Good morning, Good night Thread Good afternoon all!
It's 1:20pm where I live.
Got up at 8:15am, went for a 3 mile (almost 5k) run then some weights at the gym for 30mins.
Down to the local newsagents for some rolls and sausages.
Now I'm tinkering with the new vBSEO and finding wee problems with the style on my forum that I'm trying to fix.
The missus has asked me to tiday up the spare room (I call it the big cupboard lol) and put some stuff in the attic. But I'm watching the football and can't be arsed!
Off to a 30th birthday celebration tonight, looking forward to that!
Hope everyone enjoys their day! |

| Re: Good morning, Good night Thread Good morning everyone!
Gonna hit lunch with Mommy and Daddy (or Grandma and Grandpa as my daughters call them! ) and then gotta go do my first LIVE Fantasy Football draft of the season!
After that, I hope to finish the editing and addition of music to our first podcast and maybe even start an internal webpage or two with the Webtemplates mod.
Have a great day everyone! |

| Re: Good morning, Good night Thread Good luck to you Arny
I haven't gone to an interview in over a year..
I'm not nervous tho, I can do the job and I can do it well, now it's just convincing them.
After that I may go up and by my wife an anniversary gift, it'll be 7 years tomorrow. |

| Re: Good morning, Good night Thread Yup...convincing them is the key. And, it all depends on who you are interviewing for. You see, I went through a series of interviews (got called back three times) and all looked absolutely perfect for me. The job was a perfect fit for me and I had all the experience in the world. After my first interviews with the recruiting manager, the sales/branch manager and a Powerpoint presentation to a couple of the main sales managers...everything looked great! Then, I interviewed with the CEO of the Credit Union and we just didn't 'connect'. And, I'm a person that is very enthusiastic and stays positive. But, this person and I were just a couple of wavelengths off. I could sense it. And, I didn't get the job. First time in a long time that I had not gotten a job that I wanted.
But now, I'm on the hunt again. I've only had three jobs in the past 14 years (6 1/2 years for one, 5 years for another and 2 1/2 years for the latest). But, the financial world is a tough business right now.
Wow....7 years, huh? Isn't that the year where the "itch" begins
I'm on Year 9 and headed into the decade next June! Sheesh....time sure flies. |

| Re: Good morning, Good night Thread This interview this morning went well, it's only a 6 month contract, but money is money.
I hope to hear back from them early next week
and my last real job, I had for 4.5 years, then I started my own biz and had worked with crowdgather the last year.
after about 3 weeks of no work, I had the "itch"..lol
Thankfully I've been able to find freelance work, but having a solid paycheck every week is nice. |

| Re: Good morning, Good night Thread well 2nd day was very boring, I think I'll do some typing like filling out the ticket tomorrow, then to a store on thurs to check out the network, then maybe even some phone time by friday!
this job should be pretty easy, pretty laid back and plenty of room for overtime.
I'm pretty tired from being bored out of my mind all day, heading to bed now |

| Re: Good morning, Good night Thread Wow, great job Chase! That's awesome! Who are you going to go with to create your custom skin?
Brandon, sounds like a piece of cake for you. Congrats on finding some steady flow of cash for the next 6 months. Maybe you'll do such a great job that they'll keep you on staff or as a consultant at least on an ongoing basis.
For me, well I seem to be over-qualified for most of the stuff that I'm applying for
But, I'm still moving forward |

| Re: Good morning, Good night Thread well the last 5 nights I had been out in the cold and dark working on my car trying to save a buck by replacing my altenator and it ended up being the starter that was bad. That's the last straw for that car, we are donating it to a local group and will take the tax right off.. |
