HELP WINDOWS XP update last night now recieve error?
Ok, I hope I posted this in the right place.
My wifes computer is a E-machine from Walmarts..
It has been a good computer, but last night a windows update occured and now when you shut the computer off, and turn it back on there is a error that comes up on the screen..
The error is as follows; RTHDCPL.EXE - ILLEGAL SYSTEM DLL RELOCATION.
The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly.
The relocation occured because DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\HHCTR.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.
What do I need to do, or has anyone even heard of this? I know very little when it comes to DLL and all this..
Thanks in advance,
