You went for an AMD processor over Intel? Interesting.

I run a dual core 3800 AMD and occasionally get games that wont play etc. So I was thinking Intel next time around.

5200 should be pretty quick.

I recently fitted this Overclocker Cafe - Inno3D GeForce 8800 GT Overclocked Edition Review

Already have 2gig ram.

Latest PITA game that didn't work is Gears of War.

Crysis was a blast, I love 1st person shooters. Fear, all 3 of them, BioShock ... awesome.

My old 6600 card couldn't keep up with these new ones.

Good config, just upgraded my computer as well. Finally went for Intel Core 2 Duo, after using AMD processors for over 8 years.

Re: I just bought a new computer !

I'll be getting a 2nd 19" lcd after the new years, and speakers, and a cordless keyboard and mouse.

The wireless keyboard I have now has most of the letters worn off..lmao

oh, I'll be replacing the vista home with ultimate which I already have from school.

Re: I just bought a new computer !

Always been a AMD Fan here, not too big on Intels, some of their new tech seems nice but the AMD processors have never let me down. I did have a Intel P3 just burn up on me a few years ago though.

Looks like a nice computer Brandon, although I always just buy barebones kits from Tigerdirect.com or Newegg.com and then build the rest myself.
