Yup, I'm still taking "bids" (so to speak) on the job. Can you give me examples of your work?

Thanks!

Re: Joomla

I had tried it out few months back, however never liked it. Is it just me or do majority of the websites running joomla seem to be quite slow in loading including their own site?

Maybe the way some are configured have something to do with it. The site above I posted loads for me in less than a second. However this page took about 15sec.

Re: Joomla

Joomla is a bit hard to understand with some of its admin elements at first. But when you do get it, it is really easy to post content any way you want to.

PC101; I don't have any sites currently running Joomla, I had it on my site a while back, but I am now building my own pages.

Re: Joomla

I use it on my site as well for the portal. I then use vbulletin for the rest of the site but I'm not bridging the two environments together. Maybe eventually I will but for now it seems to working okay for me.

Re: Joomla

Here is what winkipedia says about Joomla
Joomla! is a free, open source content management system for publishing content on the world wide web and intranets. The system includes features such as page caching to improve performance, RSS feeds, printable versions of pages, news flashes, blogs, polls, website searching, and language internationalization. Joomla is licensed under the GPL, and is the result of a fork of Mambo.

The name Joomla is properly written with an exclamation mark as that is part of the name, but this is commonly omitted.
