Is it just me or don’t you hate…..?


When you visit a forum and can’t view "today’s post".

I understand it may get people to join, but if I can’t see how active a forum is daily, I won’t join. It drives me nuts.

Yes I love the today's post. At one point I completely removed the new posts because... it makes my forum less active. They seem to only want to post on something that has recetnyl been posted on. But after about a month of having it down, and hearing a lot of bitching, i put it back up. Needless to say... we are WAY less active this month.

I agree, if users can't see what's new on the forum, most likely the will just move on.
