I voted for Windows, purely because I am known with it. Not for security reasons haha.

I voted for mac. I use one, I have two, I love it! but there are certainly advantages of windows (a few) and if you take the time windows CAN be secure (sometimes >.>)

Also, Linux is great too! :P

I prefer Macs plus you can install Windows on them, if you ever need to but with the amazing features available; no need yet unfortunately I do not own a Mac though I am planning to get one

If you mean a free Microsoft Office alternative for Mac, I can only recommend OpenOffice for all yet you can check amongst the internet for separate programs

Windows. A little less simple to use, but the complexity delivers a good result. Although, I admit, Macs are supposed to be quite good.

Just buy a Windows Vista or XP Installation CD, then install it using the Bootcamp beta.

OpenOffice suite is a reasonable program, or you can try AbiWord.

Re: Mac vs. Windows

Thanks Joshua, I have NeoOffice now, it was recommended by a friend
Thanks though, if I find any problems on this, I might try one of the ones you have told me.. But from what i have done already on NeoOffice, it seems okay to be honest .. Thanks.

I know for a fact that Windows will always win in these polls, mainly because they are more commen, every computer apart from Apple computers come with Windows, so people are more likely to prefer them, it's usually only the more advanced computer users that use Macs. I personally use a Windows, Vista to be precise, but if I had the money, I may be tempted to buy a Mac, as they are really lovely computers. The only problem I have with them, is tha I have gotten so used to the Windows interface, that I would find using a Mac a bit hard to get used to, as I'm so used to Windows.
