I don't own one at the moment, but I'm getting the Xbox 360 when it comes closer to Halo 3's release date.

+ when I finally decide to make some money. :P

Haha, most people are going to say xbox 360, because they all have a 360 according to the poll. However, the PS3, looking at it's specs, is the best piece of hardware.

Ps3 is good for playing dvds, because of the blueray.
Its apparently one of the cheapest blueray players, so most people who like to watch the best of the best movies, and play abit of games.. Thats the console for them. People that would just like the games 360 deffenitly.. graphics are about the same and the console is alot cheaper.
My friend had 360 and ps3, and he pefers his 360, but thats him. It depends on the person whos going to be playing on the console.

Xbox 360 was rated better by gamespot and the senior editor of Playstation Magazine. The ceo of Sony said they dropped the ball and aren't making a playstation 4.

I have a 360 and intend on getting a Wii.

Wii's are pretty cool, but only for when you have people round i'd say, or a family/shared console.. But then again, it does have RPG's like zelda ect, so there good for playing when your on your own.. So all the new gen consoles i really like for differant reasons really..

I'd like to see proof of that. Also, you have to understand that the 360 has been out a complete year before the ps3, and that the launch year of a console is usually the slowest and probably worst part of a console's life. So I would wait until Christmas 07 or even Christmas 2008 to compare consoles. It's said that it will take a year or two to tap into the real potential of the PS3. However, I do agree that right now the 360 is doing better (as of now) due to its online capabilities and user base.

I remember when I was in discussion with people whether the PS2 or the Xbox was the best, of course, most people choose their own console.
Not a PS4? I think that would be an unwise step since the consoles of Sony get a lot of commercial attention.
