I had read about dropped domains and how its bad in eyes of google to select a domain that has been dropped(shows non-serious spam domains?) Any takes on that. I reckon based on a patent info available, goolge has acknowledged that it looks at age of domain for ranking purposes(so its a good idea to select a long term domain)

Point being as far as domain drops go, i got a great short domain that was i guess being sat upon by a domain agent. But its still a drop, so how much does that matter?

If you're looking for a long term investment, I really don't see a dropped domain playing much of a factor. You may check in archive.org and see how to site was setup in the past.

What was the domain ? I'm sure you made a good decision, knowing you
