MICHAEL LA BUONO
KEYBOARDS AND VOCALIST
Michael has been playing the keyboards for 27 years and joined "THE SOUND INVESTMENT BAND" in 1990. His musical education began with piano lessons at the age of 7 and he began performing professionally in his early teens. After attending West Chester University to major in music education, his interest led him to seriously study classical music. Like many talented musicians, Mike wanted to expand his knowledge and eventually pursued a cross training in Jazz to study with the famous performer and teacher recognized as "Philly's Organist", Mr. Paul Richardson. Throughout his Jazz internship, Michael played 14 years as a full-time keyboardist in the Philadelphia Night Club circuit with a popular band of it's time "Witness". He still plays in various musical productions like the Philadelphia Show "Tony and Tina's Wedding" where you may see Mike play the role of "Johnny Wonderful". He is truly a fun musician and a delight to work with on stage. An accomplished pianist who has a tremendous archive of tunes, he is able to fulfill a variety of musical requests to satisfy all generations. His energy in the band comes from a source of fun built into Michael’s personality.
he still does the band thing, and work full time as the IT admin at the Christiana hospital here in DE which is a HUGE HUGE hospital, smart guy
