Anything besides wordpress?


What other blogging solutions are there besides Wordpress?

I've tried installing wordpress only to get server 500 messages, and i even used fantastico to install it, only to get the same thing.

I've checked the logs, and removed .htaccess that was there and still nothing and it refuses to work, so screw Wordpress.

What else is there?

Oh man, I hope you get WP working. It really is what I would suggest.
I use to have a page bookmarked that listed the pro's and cons of blogging software. Let me see f I can find it

Contact your host about it... fantastico was supposed to install it without any problems... wth?

I've contacted my host(ASO) and they are at a loss right now about the issue as well.

Its definently a hosting issue this time though, as i tried to install b2evolution last night and encountered the same errors.

I really don't want to switch hosts, so hopefully they fix it soon so i can make me a blog

ASO should be able to fix it ;)
If not, I would ask for all my money back.

I understand the labor of switching host, I just cringe anything I have to move over my sites. The catch 22 is, I always have more and more sites when I need to switch...lmao!

Ok we got this all sorted and Wordpress is now up and running at my site.

Are there any "must have" plugins i should grab before i start generating content?
