I was just thinking about the 'style' issue for my waltdisneyblogs.com vs my waltdisneyboards.com and I was asking myself this question.... should I have waltdisneyblogs have it's own identity (and different style?) or should I keep the same style and similar setup for consistency and strengthening the 'brand'?

What are your thoughts?

I would say strengthening the brand is more important, and it's easy to attempt to duplicate rather then create new...

well i would say if you found the right coder (not me) you could ask them to recreate your vb theme for WP for under $50 (i would hope)

Caddy's right, you'd only want to go with a different design if you really wanted a different audience and different atmosphere there, and I don't think that's what you want. The magic continues on your blog site!

right, it makes for a easy jump and transition to the blogs, they feel comfortable, usually if a designer is fairly good the header and navigation will be the same or close so they are already familiar with all the controls. this will help them feel more easy while on site and maybe get you some blog posts
