Problem accessing wp admin panel


Yesterday we moved our site to a new host. Everything went fine. We had made backup of all our data and restored it on the new host.

The only problem i see now is with the wordpress blog. I can access the blog fine but when i'm trying to login to the admin panel it throws out errors.

We are using wordpress 2.5 on our site.

I'm not sure what's causing these errors but if guys have any idea's how to get rid of these errors plz let me know.

Moving wordpress sites must be the most pain staking head causing event i've ever been thru and seen others go thru as well.

Anyway, there are a ton of possible reasons for this, is your new and old host running the same version of PHP?

Try renaming your plugins folder temporarily and then try to login in

Is there extra whitespace at the top or bottom of the wp-config.php file?

And if that doesn't work, try overwriting existing files.

overwriting the files shouldn't hurt anything unless you've had to make manual file edits to them for some reason. Of course as long as you replace them with the same version of Wordpress Also be sure to check that wp-config.php file for whitespace at the top and bottom.

there was some extra whitespace in the wp-config.php file. I removed the whitespace and reuploaded the file and that solved the problem. Thanks for all the help guys.
