I have a wordpress blog homepage and a vbulletin /forum

I usually post latest stories 2-3 times a day of breaking news in sport,tv or showbiz etc. I'm looking to pull the latest story and display it in the navbar of the homepage or maybe all pages, either or.

This site currently does this here


I would imagine this could be done using RSS feeds but I haven't a clue where to start.

Even if I could get it to say Latest news from What's Your View: "Latest post from wordpress"

and not worry about the sub sections displayed after it.

Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance
