For those of you who shelled out for the vb blog, do members actually use it and is it worth it? I am just wondering because I had a member express interest but I don't want to shell out $60 for 1 person possibly using it (I put up a poll and only 1 member said he would definately use it).

I have it and I'm basically the only one who uses it unfortunately, I'm hoping that as I continue to post others will join.

I think if your members will use it is more a function of your members demographics.

As for the product do I think its worth it? It seems like a lot, but I was using Zoints which I really didn't care for at all.

Yeah, I really don't see any of my members using it. I kept the poll up and if I even get a small handfull of folks who want to use it, I may take the plunge and purchase it. Thanks!

vBulletin Setup - Blogs
I would look at it this way.. it's extra unique content no matter how you look at it. The real question is do you want to use a free version and have to worry about upgrades, or get the support mod by jelsoft that you know will work with all future version of vB.

I hope it gets better with the newer version of the vblog, it has a long way to go.
