| Vbloggetin is installed...now question? Ok Vblogetin is now installed. How do I specify right now what users I want to be able to use it? We want to test it between our mod, me and admin..
I was thinking it would just be a click box in the user settings but apparently not?
Also, I want to switch over to VBAD for my main page..how will this work with that? ANY help greatly appreciated.
PS) Please do not send me to another vb forum as the answers here are much quicker.. |

1. vBlogetin is fully intergrated with the usergroups.
Go to admin usergroup and scroll down to the bottom.
2. okay, do you have your forums setup in the root right now ? |

| Re: Vbloggetin is installed...now question? Why not go to this vb site I know of. Lol j/k.
Well do u want it to be in the same dir as ur forum, or in a different?
Note: if u want in different dir then all pages indexed are broken links.

| Re: Vbloggetin is installed...now question? Well...forum is not in root directory. It goes:
/path/to/www.mysite.com/web/content/forum
content would be the root...
Would I be able to make up a new usergroup and give just them rights to blogging? I haven't checked to see if it works this way. |

You could, or you can edit an existing usergroup and give them access to the blogs.
There are 3 or 4 big sections in the usergroups concerning the vblogetin script. |

| Re: Vbloggetin is installed...now question? You could just edit the usergroup settings in your ACP. As far as vBadvananced goes, you either have it installed it in your root directory or in your forum directory. Either way it should pick up your nav bar and should work. You also should edit the "links to prefix with your forum URL" in vBA settings so the links won't break to your blog. |

| Re: Vbloggetin is installed...now question? In the admincp > vblog menu you'll see one that says something about template edits.
Click that and some styles can be edited automatically, but some will require manual edits. Either way, you should see the one for postbit in this menu. |

| Re: Vbloggetin is installed...now question? ok thank you. I just wish there was a way to get a seperate URL saying "sign up for your blog here" and tell them how to sign up for the blog. It is a little confusing. |

It is a little confusing. | You can always do that manually: edit your chosen template (forumhome for example or showthread) and put the link where you want it. |
