Post Vbulletin or Wordpress blog?

Hi all,

I have currently VB blog running on the board and it is going reasonably although not setting the world alight - I have about 30 Bloggers and that's it.

I was wondering if anyone has integrated WordPress into their forum and a) how they did 'it' and how is it going? I have a WordPress private blog for roymogg.com just to keep my eye in and I must say I prefer the layout and approach and would like to replicate this on the main board.

any thoughts?

Re: Vbulletin or Wordpress blog?

I have been debating this as I have yet to start the 'blog' side of things on my sites but have tried to figure out whether to go with WP MU or vB Blogs.

If you have 30+ bloggers, then you are doing rather well compared to most sites that I've sought information from. I know that I'd have about a half dozen that would jump right in and then another 10 to 12 that would start to post here and there. So, I'd have some activity right up front and some additional content to put out there.

Even if I select to go with vB Blogs, I am still going to be working on adding WP as the 'home' page for my sites. It gives a nice clean look and can even be 'bridged' with a mod on vB.org

Re: Vbulletin or Wordpress blog?

If you integrate a wordpress blog, you would need WP MU and that is a bigger pain. Not worth it. If you don't do WP MU, it is only for one person.
