I admit it, I really don't understand this whole Squiddoo thing. I've read many pages that advised creating a "lens" on Squidoo to show off your knowledge on a subject, but every time I've visited the site it seems all the niches I would write about are taken by people who don't seem to know much and keep repeating the the same thing over and over again. Is there any kind of editor handling quality control? What if you made a better write-up, would they substitute it for the one already in place? What makes Squidoo any better than all those article sites?

yeah i guess all you can do is submit what you got and see what happens. i have heard too about squidoo be really good for getting the word out.

Can't you just rename it.
Like I have /vbulletinseo couldn't you still make /vbulletin-seo or even vbulletin-s-e-o

I never thought about using hyphens, it's worth a try.

yeah i guess you can do that, and if your content is better then you will eventually outwiegh them in the serps.

I'd try HubPages instead. Squidoo is not ranked highly with Google since everyone signed up and spammed the hell out of it. I've had very good results with hubpages, some of mine rank on Google.

Thanks Noodles, looks like there are fewer pages already created for the keywords I want so I'll try this too
