This is another mod that I looked for and didn't really find. Basically I was thinking of adding Xfire section in the profile (there's that extra space there anyway). However, I'm not talking about just adding it there as a custom field, but also the same system that AIM, MSN, and Skype uses (shows up in posts, etc.).

ive also been looking for something that could do this, as i own a clan website i thought it could be a very useful feature but im yet to find anythng on the web.

ive tried my own ideas but they never work, i get what im after (i,e i get the data fields in the carrect place and the field title but i get no information.) for exapmle it looks like this, x-fire id -

i never get the data in the postbit.

if anyone nows where i can find something that can do this id love to see it. or even if you no something that could help me do it my self i woul be very grateful

Somebody made an attempt at making a mod like this for me on vbulletin.org, but to be honest it kind've sucks. Basically you create a custom profile field and link it with postbit icon to show your xfire name if you hover your mouse over it. However, you would still have to make a template for a page that it would lead you to if somebody clicked on the icon because the default URL is xfire.com. I'm having one of my admins work on improving it, but so far I haven't heard from him on the progress. I'll let you know if we nail it down and post the intructions here. In the mean time it would be nice if someone offered some help on this.
