I got fed up of waiting for IB and their secret squirrel club that I bit the bullet and purchased an Invision Board license.

I am busily creating some new styles for IPB now.

Depending on how they are received I can see myself moving more over to IPB

I also bought a IPB license. The whole deal: IP Community Suite and IP.CCS 5 days ago.
I am selling both now and staying with vBulletin. The benefits of going to IPB did not come close to making up for the drawbacks.

So now I'll just stick with vB 3.8 with vBlog. And you know what? I think IB will give existing customers a fair deal with the suite.

What's the point in hanging around if I can see right away it doesn't fit? In regards to internationalization things haven't changed since IPB1.3. If anything it got worse. Right now you can't get a 100% translated German language file for the forum. Not to speak of the Blog, Gallery or the CCS.
With vB you get a 100% supported language file for all official products and that is perfect for me.
Plus all the other stuff... And I think vB4 will be better than IPB3.

I need the money to buy another vBulletin license...

On the other hand the highest bid is $200 right now. And there is no way I am selling this for $200. I spent $285 on this and I'm not going below $230-250. If I don't get that I'll just have to see what I'm gonna do with this license.
