I've often thought about trying to make my own style for a site. Someday I might actually do it too.

Just wondering what made you make your styles ? Was it for your site, or just because you like the action of making a style, and wanted to give back to the community that has given so much back.

I had to make my own styles because I couldn't find anyone to do it for me. It's no secret I absolutely loathe styling and it's the single most aspect of designing I hate. So essentially, I basically had a gun to my head and had to design several make shift styles until I can get motivated to design the style theme that's currently laying dorment in my head.

There were so few feminine vB styles out there, and people on my own (EE) forum kept asking me why I didn't make some, since I've been doing website/webpage designs/graphics, for years.

SO I have it a shot and enjoyed it very much.

I think they look like crap. what can you all do to make it look better?

Why does it look like crap? Truthfully, I love the colors. Relaxing is what they are. Good for people to look at after a long, hard days' work.
I actually like the top one the best.

because it was to look like 3D molding and trim from natural stone.

can any of you make it look better?
