Help w/Database Error...

Help w/Database Error...

I'm not sure if it's 100% related, but I was adding a mod and when I went to test it out I got the following database error....

Code:

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.8:

Invalid SQL:
UPDATE user SET
	posts = posts + 1,
	usertitle = 'Administrator',
	lastpost = 1208129752,
	lastpostid = 0,
	threads = 1
WHERE userid = 1;

MySQL Error  : Unknown column 'threads' in 'field list'
Error Number : 1054
Date         : Sunday, April 13th 2008 @ 07:35:52 PM

You've got an extra colum in your field list table called threads.

Do you have other modifications installed, or does this modification the only one you haveinstalled?

that looks like its from a mod. If you are using it, then add a threads field to the user table

I've put quite a few mods on there, but didn't get this database error until the last one or two. Any suggestions on a fix?

I'm new, so I need the help for sure!

Then I would delete the past couple of mods to you forum and reinstall them 1 at a time to see which one is causing the error, then go from there. But you need to figure out what was is causing it.

Run this query

ALTER TABLE user ADD threads int(10)

James, I did that with the last couple and it didn't help. So, I guess that it's one of those things that slipped through and I didn't realize I was having issues at the time.

First delete the cookies... (Brandon and Lizard King are the only ones that will get that one)

If you have your userid setup in the config.php file to run queries, then you can run it through the admincp. It would be under the maintenance tab I believe.
