I like shoutboxes, but I'd rather ppl posted then "shouted"

I keep reading about Flashchat and went to their site before. For 5 dollars it does not look bad. But like you said I would rather members post on the forum then chat, and Im also worried about wasting bandwith well not now since I only have 20 members but in the future.

Im going to set up the chat box that future members must have atleast 50 quality posts in order to use the chat box. Im not crazy about the shout box too much.

Good thing you showed me the post and thanks for the advice , Im going to hold off Flashchat then I dont need headaches. Id like a chatbox that wont be displayed on the forum like on a seperate page. I have not seen much on Vb.

I use flashchat... the new version and in my opinion it is great. For $5, its the best you can get. They also have different modules now for an extra $5 and you can use video chats, mp3 players, or banners in the chat. I have them both.

I tried shoutbox before too but it slowed down my site so I took it off.

Agree on a chat. some hosts however dont allow them, so whats wrong with a simple irc freebie room, link up there ^^ somewhere ?
