Earn Money with our Revenue Sharing addition

I'm happy to announce that you can now earn money with your post on vBulletin Setup.

If you will check out your Edit Profile link you'll see a spot for your google pub -Id and your google Channel.

You don't have to make a channel, but it would be easier to track for you.

Once you've entered this info, any threads that you have started will earn you money. The % is setup as 50/50 right now, but I may do a higher percentage later on for the vBulletin Owners group.

As I said, this is only setup for any ad's in the post but I want to extend this to other parts of the site, like the Blogs and possible the header spot. The Header spots are our money makers tho, and this is what I use to pay for hosting..

Anyways, let me know if you have any questions, and get to making some Money

ps. I also want to set this on the link directory 200x200 ad, I get several clicks on those and want to share

Niiiice. Now I can prosper at your expense, Brandon :P Speaking of this, though, I was going to mention something concerning Adsense channels. I don't use them for that reason, but basically any time I use any sort of channel for the ad units (not referrals) the ads no longer work on the forum and instead come up as a bunch of raw code that spreads out all over the forums. Never really figured out why it does this and just took the channels off. Now that this little feature came out, though, it would be nice to add some channels for tracking.

Er... Character limit on the channel name is too short. Can you increase that please?

Yah, I'm sure. I named my channel vBulletinSetup to make it simple, but all that fits is vBulletinS in the field. That's a 10 character limit for that field, which... if you go by typical naming rules of channels, they tend to be much larger than 10 characters. Also, have you any idea what my problem could be (in reference to previous post)?

the channel that you need to enter is just numbers like 1234567890

and I've never had problems with adsense channels ? I have about 30 different ones

Er... numbers? From my awareness channels aren't numbers, unless I'm really not getting this, which it seems is the case. Where would I get a number from?
