[NEW USERS READ] vBulletin Setup Rules

Rule No. 1 -Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling
Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on vBS. Treat others on these message boards as you would expect them to treat you. Posting topics specifically designed to provoke a negative response from someone (aka trolling) is also asked to be avoided. There are however some posts that will cause debates that may offend you. If you are easily offended by discussions about race, religion, and other highly opinionated topics we suggest you stay out of those topics.
Rule No. 2 -No 'Spamming'
Purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages to gain a higher post count, or just to annoy others is HIGHLY frowned upon! Commercial spamming and advertising are just as unwelcome, double posting is allowed to an extent. Many users us 'Threaded Mode' and it is allowed to double post if posting to two different replies.
Rule No. 3 -Impersonating Other Users / Accessing Another User('s)Account
You may not impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users. Also, accessing or using someone else's account or attempting to access another poster's account is strictly prohibited. You will be banned.
Rule No. 4 -Piracy, and Warez
Absolutely no warez. Linking or giving information about any site that distributes illegal software, or warez, seeking help to circumvent any copyright laws, or encouraging software or media piracy is grounds for an immediate ban.
Rule No. 5 -Nudity/Porn
Please remember that this board is a 'PUBLIC' forum. There are 12 year olds here just as there are 50 year olds. Nudity and porn is prohibited for obvious reasons.
Rule No. 6 -Copyrighted Material
vBulletinSetup.com users agree not to post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner(s) of said copyright, trademark or other proprietary right.
Rule No. 7 - Signatures
We do not have any specific set of rules regarding signatures. However, we do ask you that it will not be offensive to others and the width & height will not exceed 500x135 pixels. If you desire to have a custom avatar, it must be 80x80 pixels or less. No adult, drug related or racist content please.
Rule No. 8 - Posting Hacks
If you wish to post a hack which isn't yours you'll need to ask the original author for permission. This also goes for parts of the hack's code. Please note we won't be picky about a line or 2 (adding a comment with a thank you message there is appreciated but not required), but if you've copy-pasted significant pieces of code (ie without that code your hack [or a part of it] wouldn't function), you are required to add credit and possibly ask for permission from the original author. If you're unsure of what to do please contact one of the staff members.
Reposting of hacks from any other site without the authors permission will result into a deletion of the thread and a 7 day ban at first offense. Second offense will result in a permanent ban!
Rule no. 9 - Hack Support
If you would like support for a hack, please request it in the hack's thread, not in any other thread nor forum unless explicitly told to do so by the Hack's author.
Rule no. 10 - Report Button
Please note that the report button was made for reporting bad posts only. Please do not abuse this button to get attention to your thread/other threads, or try to get faster support.
Rule no. 11 - Unlicensed vBulletin Boards
We will not provide support to members concerning their unlicensed vBulletin board, full stop. Piracy is a crime!
Rule no. 12 - There is not to be any discussion's of politics or religion including posting of pictures.
Rule no. 13 - This forum is seen by younger individuals please do not post pictures with BAD WORDS written on them because the word filter will miss this.
Rule no. 14 - vBulletin question's or anything pertaining to vBulletin, vBSEO etc. are to be asked in the vBulletin section's of this forum.
Rule no. 15 - This is an English speaking forum, please type your post in English.

As all the new members will see, you are not able to download the free vBulletin Styles or see the attachments without confirming ownership. I’ve added this final step to help weed out the losers that run warez forums and just want to grab the files in order to post them on their site and claim they made it! All I ask is to check out your forum, it takes me about 10 seconds to look it over and approve your account. I know it’s asked when you register, but I don’t have time to check 20 new members a day to see who is a real vBulletin owner. We never post your URL or save them in a list, it’s completely up to you if you want to let everyone else know your URL.
I understand that some members are brand new, and haven’t even setup their forum yet. In that case, please let us know what your forum is going to be about in your confirmation post.
