vBulletin Setup is about to hit 2,000 post
I just wanted to make a small post that we should hit 2,000 post in the next day or two. This site is taking of way better then I could have imagined, and I owe it all to you guys ( the members ) :2bounce:
It seems like I haven't been able to keep up with fresh content like I was in the first month, but the truth is that I've constantly had new clients ( sites to work on ) for the last 7 weeks :B
The was basically my whole point of making the site, so all is going as planed.. I still have some great ideas for the site and plan to implement them. It's just a matter of when I get time, I know I'll have some free time from school around thanksgiving, so look for some cool stuff to be happening then.
I plan to add a few mods that you the member can make some money from this site, and also to finish the "blog link in post" hack.. That's not the name of it, but it will allow you to add a RSS link to your blog or site and that will be added in everyone of your post. Some of you may have seen it on some of the bigger sites like digitalpoint and a few others.. It's a nice way for you to get backlinks to your site just from posting..
I also plan to add all the vB Owners site to the "white list" with vbseo, so bots will follow everyones link back to their sites.
So, Everyone stick with it, the BOTM is looking pretty good for us. We should get a rush of members from that. Right now a majority of our traffic comes from Google, and honestly, that is what I was shooting for
and about 30% of the traffic is coming from vbulletin.org, adminfusion, and a few smaller vbulletin webmaster sites.
