You can block a few URLs from showing up from google webmaster tools.

Well, I'm not sure that's what I want, it would prevent that page from being in Google at all?

no.
it would just remove the site link, google will find another link to replace it.

When I first checked, google had a link to my profile as a sitelink. I remove it and it replaced it with some other link. I haven't checked lately, but this will not prevent google from spidering your site or anything.

OK, that makes sense.

In Webmaster tools for MapForums.com it still says:

Google has not generated any sitelinks for your site.

Except that it did. map forums - Google Search

I guess it's just not all updated or in sync yet.. I'll check back in a week.

I thought you were talking about Remove URL's under the Tools section:

Remove URLs
Remove content from the Google index, including expediting that removal.

It just happens, I think it might help if you are submitting a sitemap, but I can't confirm that right now.

I'm wondering if it relates to how many referrals they are throwing you.. I just got over 1,500 per day when I noticed it.

I don’t think it is linked to referrals, for instance my forum gets over 10x search engine referrals than my personal site, yet my personal site has more sitelinks than my forum.

Google has not generated any sitelinks for your site. Sitelinks are completely automated, and we show them only if we think they'll be useful to the user. If your site's structure doesn't allow our algorithms to find good sitelinks, or we don't think that the sitelinks are relevant to the user's query, we won't show them. However, we are always working to improve how we find and display sitelinks.
