ArmyParatrooper.org

Here is my humble submission. I decided to start a Paratrooper community to reconnect with my bros when I got out and it continues to grow, although it is definitely a work in progress.

Re: ArmyParatrooper.org

Thanks Brandon. The website as a whole I setup myself and since I'm by far a professional web designer - I think it still has work to do. As for the vbulletin part, I continue to look for things to add to it that will benefit the members. I'm still fairly new to vbulletin, having come from the phpbb side of the house, so I know there's tons for me to learn.

Re: ArmyParatrooper.org

Ah I see, I was once a Huge phpbb2 fan as well.
It took me a while to see how vB works, I was use to editing the phpBB2 template and php files on the ftp...lol

Let us know if you have any questions, if you'd like we can give you some suggestions

Re: ArmyParatrooper.org

Hu-ahhhh!!!!

I love it. Great site and I love that is serves a noble purpose. And as important as style is - content/purpose will shadow that ALWAYS.

and this: Rules, Regulations, SOPs ??? LMAO!!! SOPs!!!! LOL Way to create a theme!!! As your forums develope you and new 'rules' are needed you have to title the threads with FM-... !!! ;)

And lastly, the old pineapples for Hot Topics is just great!!!

I might have to drop by for a closer peek at the content sometime. Alas I was only a 'leg' !! An intelligence puke at that!! LOL Still, sites like these appeal to me.

BEST of luck and Success with your forum.

Wade

G_Man, please feel free to swing by. Although the site is primarily the home for Paratroopers, we have all sorts of folks there, including civilians. Don't let being a leg keep you away.:p

Thanks. My immediate priority is to figure out how to boost my visibility on the search engine. If you have any tips on the best ways to accomplish this, I'm all ears. I figure there's a thread or three about this topic here somewhere.

I'll have to swing by and at least register. Definitely a nice site.

BTW - you should check this forum out: No Restrictions Forum - Powered by vBulletin

Check out their smilies. Some GREAT ones there that might fit your site if you want. If you want them I'll check with the Admin so you have permission to nick them. Pretty sure he just nicked from elsewhere on the web anyhow.
