Do you have an ad in the top right ? My av might be blocking it, the space looks a bit bare.
I would try to maybe remove one of the ads from the left column, and place one in the top right spot.
To me, the side column is just one add to long, and if you could make it 2 or 3 ads smaller on the forumdisplay and showthread page, I think it would look a bit sharper.
