Etusivu.net (Etusivu = "Front Page" in Finnish) is a global meeting place for Finn and those interested in Finland. The community has members from over dozen countries. Most of the posts are in Finnish, but you may write in English also (and pretty much everyone on the board will understand
).
Etusivu's "viestitaulu" (message board) was set up in 1999, and ran on Ultimate Bulletin Board for couple of years before switching to vBulletin (and it's own server) in the spring of 2002.
