an advice we give often, how to turn your welcome message into an image so search engines don't index that part for each page since it sees your site as guest

the day brandon intsalled and worked on my site i could not find it in google unless i typed the exact name. using motorized bicycle forum search this is the result on google
day brandon installed could not find it
the next day page 8
the next day page 7
today 1/7/07 page one number 9 and we have only just begun

Here is a handy tool that will check google, yahoo and msn in your search results
Shoemoney serps script

.. you're 17 in google ATM for "motorized bicycle forum" and this thread is #7 :naughty:

I don't even care about msn and yahoo, I should but I don't!
if you search on that link for vbulletin and our forum url, we come up close to the top on google, but don't even show for yahoo or msn..

You can check our stats via a link in the footer. Google is top dog, so that's who I try to please and it appears to be working so far.
