Myhanoi

Each time the word “Hanoi” resounds in my mind, I realize a whole of me have belong to Hanoi. “Hanoi” is the simplest word I have ever known but in another face, it’s the most kaleidoscopically word for me, maybe for you and for all of us, for Vietnamese expatriates who always think of Hanoi but don’t have a chance to breath in the air of Hanoi always, even for foreigners, who just only hear about Thang Long – Dong Do – Hanoi, but there’s something that makes them want to research, want to go to Hanoi just to see, just to feel the air, and so many others… But you know why? Just because we love Hanoi in a reality way, we ready showing you our love by giving you our feelings to ancient streets, to each trees line, to the four sweet seasons in Hanoi…

Sometime, the feelings can not be expressed by words, just only be expressed by our useful actions for Hanoi…And we think of MyHanoi – a group of all people who are interested in Hanoi’s culture, or in the other hands want to make Hanoi be better and better days by days.

On the first time, I wonder why the group decided to take its name is “MyHanoi”. I also think it seems to contain the individualism, it is only for individuals. And sometime we think of others significant names such as Hanoian, Our Hanoi…

But this time, I know that each person has their private emotions for Hanoi, our love is different from each others. In facts, I like Milk Flowers, but you just like the autumn or other just like Hoan Kiem Lake… I can not identify and compel you’ve got to have the same emotions like me, don’t you? So I think “MyHanoi” really is the name that can contains full of our feelings to Hanoi and express them in very various ways.

By accident we meet each others. By chance we discover and suddenly acclaim “Oh! Surprisingly! You love Hanoi, too – like me. So we’re friends! Okay?” Then we hold hands together, there is no standard, we join in a group together, our language is “Hanoi”, our feeling is the love for Hanoi, and our group is MyHanoi.

Why don’t you fill the blank with your own feeling? I do believe that the name “MyHanoi” is the conclusion for all answers.

Therefore, we named our group and our project and our site MyHanoi.
