Pc Helpforum - Computer support

Hello,

my website is Pc Helpforum
It's a dutch forum where people can post their computer problems or questions, u can find also tips and manuals, freeware etc.

Since yesterday we exist 1 year and have now 273 registered members.

Because i want to improve the registrations a have created the portal page, i shall explain in english whats on it :-) so u understand it

first of all on the portal, we say what the site is.
in the left menu u see 'welkom gids', thats a welcome guide for new members with the explanation for how to use the forums

the other links are info about premium membership and advertising, linkpartners, etc.

the is also a block with the latest download.

So i hope all this would help to get more users
Here in Belgium there are a few other pc helpforum sites
so i want to increase the traffic to our site and thats why i am here

here are the thing i have done already:
1. removed 'powered by vbulletin' in header
2. add h1 and h2 tags in forum and treadview

all other suggestions are welcome
we are also looking for people for link exchange or sponsoring

we just reached 10 000 unique visitors this month

the month before it was 7800 so i think thats good

i stared now to linktrade with some site and it working pretty good for now

did u find any suggestions yet?

congrats

The absolute first thing I would do at this point is point all your domains to one url.
Parking your domains like you are will give Huge amounts of duplicate content.

I would point them all to the .com, but you may want the .be ?

and then I would think about a welcome header hack, and this addition
[HOW-TO] Make your Welcome Headers an image!

about the prefix hack i needed in my other tread here somewhere, its not exacly that

4) i started to link trade and is working, get more visits. the multiple domains (.nl and .com) i dit was because i would attract people from holland to (i am from belgium). is it really bad?

i've don't got the money (yet) to buy vbseo, so are theire other trics to get that PR get up? Now its only 2

looks sharp, I'd also do the welcome block on the portal page as well.

btw, the forums link in the nav box, top left, doesn't work

How have the members been taking to the new thread tags ?

I'm thinking of trying the thread cloud on the portal as well

I just tried again and it was blank, and then I tried again and it worked so dono.. ?

I would try and make that link point to the root, so u don't have two url's with the same info on it.
